ESPN is reporting that the Bengals rejected what equates to a 2 first round draft pick offer for Chad Johnson. The Bengals could really use a couple high draft picks to assemble a team that doesn't spend most of the offseason in prison. That's why they suck so bad. How cool would it be to have Chad Johnson on the Redskins?
Evidently, the Redskins Cheerleaders reverse-outsourced and went to India. Not sure how that went down.
The Redskins Cheerleaders have announced their 2008 roster. The new squad consists of 28 returning veterans and 14 rookies. A notable absense is Courtney, who leaves the squad after 12+ years. You will be missed Courtney!

The Redskins have picked up Jerome Mathis from Houston. He is a speedy little kick returner, 5 foot-11 and 184 pounds.
His most productive season was in 2005 when he finished the season as the NFL's second-ranked kick return specialist with 54 returns for a 28.6-yard average and two touchdowns. That earned him a Pro Bowl nod.
The Redskins are hosting their annual Draft Day Party on April 26 at Fed Ex Field. Admission and parking are FREE!!! Yes, that's right. This is the only time you'll ever be able to park at Fed Ex Field for free. You need to go to the website and register for free admission. Beer will be served. Crappy draft picks will be heckled.

You hate pre-season as much as I do. That being said, it's going to be a doozy this year. Plenty of opportunity for major injuries. Also, we open the season on Thursday night in The Meadowlands against the depending champion Giants.

It's that time of year again... The Redskins Cheerleaders Final Auditions show is at the Bethesda Theatre on Tuesday, April 8, at 7:30pm. Tickets are $15 and VIP tickets are $25. I'd spring for the VIP tickets high-rolla.
The auditions show will feature more than 50 Redskins Cheerleader finalists vying for the 40 spots on the Redskins Cheerleaders 2008 Squad.
Rock "The Rock" Cartwright came to terms with the Redskins for his seventh season on the squad. Rock is now fourth on the franchise's kickoff return yardage list with 3,157 total yards. He's a hard worker and a fan fave, too. Also, he's shorter than me, at 5 foot 8 which makes me feel good.

Leonard Shapiro apologized, sort of, in this article about his callous, hateful coverage of Sean Taylor's murder. Basically the guy said that he wasn't surprised that Sean Taylor was murdered, assuming it was because of his "crowd" or how he lived. It turns out that Sean Taylor was murdered by home intruders who didn't even know he was home. God, the way that Michael Wilbon and Leonard Shapiro jumped on the Sean Taylor Deserved It bandwagon makes me sick. I am officially boycotting Michael Wilbon, Leonard Shapiro and Tony Kornheiser. I am boycotting Tony Kornheiser because he is an annoying ass.
