Santana Moss Calls in Sick When He's Hungover, Too

These pro football players, they're just like us. When they partake in a weekend-long birthday bender, they call in sick on Monday to recouperate on the couch. Santana Moss celebrated his 29th birthday in style, melding charity events with hard-core partying. Pretty sweet. You go Santana. Also, Jim Zorn is pretty laid back for not being pissed that Santana missed practice.

Redskins Cheerleader Tour of India Extended

This can go in the News of the Weird bucket: The Redskins Cheerleaders have extended their trip to Bangalore Indiathrough May 28.

Twelve cheerleaders and two  choreographers are in helping to  create the first-ever cheerleading squad in that country. They don't play football. They play cricket. They have been performing at Royal Challengers Bangalore cricket matches. Their uniforms are kinda almost burgundy and gold. Check out the Redskins Cheerleader photos here.

Captain Chaos aka Chris Cooley actually married Redskins Cheerleader Christy Ogilve. Or should I say he married fired Redskins Cheerleader Christy Ogilve. Bengals Reject Redskins Chad Johnson Trade

ESPN is reporting that the Bengals rejected what equates to a 2 first round draft pick offer for Chad Johnson. The Bengals could really use a couple high draft picks to assemble a team that doesn't spend most of the offseason in prison. That's why they suck so bad.  How cool would it be to have Chad Johnson on the Redskins?

Redskins Cheerleaders Announce 2008 Roster

The Redskins Cheerleaders have announced their 2008 roster. The new squad consists of 28 returning veterans and 14 rookies. A notable absense is Courtney, who leaves the squad after 12+ years. You will be missed Courtney!

Redskins Sign Jerome Mathis from Houston

The Redskins have picked up Jerome Mathis from Houston. He is a speedy little kick returner, 5 foot-11 and 184 pounds.

His most productive season was in 2005 when he finished the season as the NFL's second-ranked kick return specialist with 54 returns for a 28.6-yard average and two touchdowns. That earned him a Pro Bowl nod.

Redskins Draft Day Party is April 26

The Redskins are hosting their annual Draft Day Party on April 26 at Fed Ex Field. Admission and parking are FREE!!!  Yes, that's right. This is the only time you'll ever be able to park at Fed Ex Field for free. You need to go to the website and register for free admission. Beer will be served. Crappy draft picks will be heckled.
