Clinton Portis Is Insane...

So, am I overreacting when I say that I've lost all respect for Clinton Portis? Maybe I'm overreacting because I'm a dog lover. I'm not a psycho P.E.T.A member, but I do like pooches. So, when Clinton Portis came out and said the following, I got a little irked.

" I don't know if he (Michael Vick) was fighting dogs or not, but it's his property, it's his dog. If that's what he wants to do, do it." When reminded that dog fighting was a federal crime, Portis responded, "It can't be too bad of a crime. You want to hunt down over fighting some dogs, you know, I think people should mind their own business. You take someone who is doing positive in the community; you take a positive role model and put him behind for no reason. You know, over a dog fight?"

Dude, get a frickin' clue. Regardless of Michael Vick's innocence or guilt (I firmly believe that we are all innocent until proven guilty in a court of law) dog fighting is disgusting and barbaric, not to mention a felony. I would love to let one of my 120lb bullmastiffs loose on Clinton's ball-sack. See if he changes his tune then...
