Jason Campbell Hurt in Redskins Chicago Bears Game

UPDATED: Jason Campbell was injured against the Bears last night. He suffered a dislocated patella (kneecap for those of you who did not attend Harvard Medical School). Realistically, it does not look good for Jason Campbell to return to the field this season.

Jason_campbell_all_star This is why pre-season sucks. Jason Campbell was hit on the knee and knocked out of tonight's game against the Steelers.Steelers defensive end Brett Keisel was assessed with a personal foul for a low hit on a quarterback in the pocket. That rookie free agent left tackle Stephon Heyer was beat (big surprise) and Jason Campbvell sustains a knee injury as a result. Why the hell is a  rookie free agent playing  left tackle? What do you think is going to happen when you do that? Oh, and Marcus Washington is hurt and will miss several weeks too. PRESEASON SUCKS!

UPDATE: It doesn't look serious.

Fortunately, neither injury seems serious. JC is up and walking around. Some are speculating that he could be back at practice as early as next week. MW will probably be back by the season opener. So while Saturday was bad, it could have be a LOT worse.

Does anyone else blame CP for sitting out training camp so far w/ his "tendonitis" ?
